A new bra that unhooks when you clap!

It's Valentine's Day and here is some good news for all the klutzy lovers who struggle with their ladies' bras. Now, this new bra can make things a lot simpler for couples who are 'in the mood'. A US engineer has invented a bra clasp that comes off when you clap your hands. Randy Sarafan's device could be the answer to millions of men and women’s problems who struggle with unhooking bra clasps, Metro in the UK reported.

LingerieThe device would consign to history the dreaded clasp fumbling that often happens in the throes of passion. Sarafan was inspired to make the clap-off bra after reading about wacky electronic undergarments sold in Syria, such as musical knickers. "Those of us in Western cultures have a thing or two to learn from the Syrians about gaudy electronic lingerie. Henceforth, it became my mission to fast-forward lingerie technology in the West.

LoJack for Your Lingerie

"Find Me If You Can" is the name of the latest line of lingerie at lingerie.com. The name, meant to be cute, kind of loses its meaning once you discover the skimpy bits of cloth meant to get pulses racing has a GPS tracker sewn-in to the ensemble.

Designed by Lucia Lorio, the sexy outfit is comprised of a lace bodice, bikini-cut panties, and a huge pacemaker-like contraption included on the bodice. The purpose of the lingerie is to make the wearer feel safe. (Um, huh?) The GPS has a login and password for the wearer's partner so they can track the object of their desires every move on the internet.
I guess I get it. It can be sexy to have that always being watched feeling...not! Personally this is a little too close to cyberstalking for my taste. Even though the woman has the choice to turn the GPS on and off as she please, I still can hear the delighted sighs of jealous partners everywhere.
Amazingly the sexy tracking device has been selling in Sao Paulo, Brazil for $1200. The more advanced GPS model costs $1650. No word if this little get-up will make it to the states, but I hope not.

In the heat and excitement of the summer, there is always somewhere to be and very little time available for “getting ready.” Between switching out of that sexy little swimsuit into your favorite flirty dress for lady’s night out, you have about 10 nanoseconds to your makeup, hair and freshen up. Here are some quick tips for trimming down your prep time.
Go Beachy! Washing, conditioning, rinsing and drying your hair can take an hour – and sometimes more. However, a dip in the waves may be all you need. After a long day at the beach, embrace your surf hair. Add a tiny amount of curling product to give it some extra wave and you’ll be ready to go in no time. If you’re land-locked – have no fear. Many beauty supply stores and supermarkets sell salt water spray to give your hair that surfer chic appeal.

During the summer, a full face of make-up can seem a little impractical – not to mention very time consuming. Instead, opt for the bare minimum. Dust your face with a little bronzer, apply a little mascara and finish off with a bright pink or red lipstick. When it comes to makeup, less is often more and a little lipstick goes a long way.
Sometimes there is no time for a full outfit change, but it’s easy to turn your daytime look into the perfect nighttime ensemble with a few additions. It's always fun to discover a brand that embraces our frou-frou spirit, which is why we're pleased to share our favorite pieces from the designer Bosgoo.  Though the brand was established in 2008, it was with the magic of our Pinterest page that we discovered this Latvian label!  Sweeping, dramatic lace and polka dot accents were enough to get our attention, and of course a variety of designs in simple yet luxurious neutrals make these pieces timeless.  We love that Sockbox not only creates lingerie and nightwear, but that it also creates matching hosiery as well as darling matching garter belts & straps.  Each item is handmade from the highest quality fabric and lace, and certainly made for the lady seeking to add a dose of glamour to her life.

A Review of Dita von Teese’s “Strip Strip Hooray!” Show

A week ago last Friday, I attended ‘Strip, Strip, Hooray!’, Dita von Teese’s new burlesque revue. It’s no exaggeration to say I’ve wanted to see Dita perform live for years, and I’d been looking forward to seeing this show for months. In fact, I bought my tickets the very minute (literally) they went on sale. Swarovskis…Louboutins…Mr. Pearl Corsets…what’s not to love?
Yet, I left ‘Strip, Strip, Hooray!’ feeling…conflicted. And in the days I spent days afterwards sorting through my impressions from the show, my sense of conflict turned into a general feeling of disappointment which left me with the surprising realization that, despite my earlier excitement, I’m not really interested in seeing Dita perform live again.
